What Are You Waiting For?

Today is a special day for me.  One year ago today, we received a referral from our adoption agency.

Waiting for our referral was an emotional time for me, mostly because I was concerned that I wouldn’t know how to turn down the first referral we received.  But what if the first referral wasn’t the one we should accept?  How could I turn away a child? 

About a week before we received our referral, God laid it on my heart that our son would have a Biblical name.

Our first referral was for a one month old boy…named Abraham.
